Easily the best place to eat north of London Ontario. We go on vacation every year to Bayfield and stop by for a meal on the way up and on the way back. We started going in 1995, and the food and service has been great every time. Can't wait to go back in 2010. Gotta love those huge portion sizes and great prices too!!
Because of my job, I am forced to travel across southwestern Ontario. I have to say that of all the restaurants that I've gone to over the past 20 odd years, from Windsor to Goderich, this place is one of the best around. If you're passing through Huron County, be sure to go to Kates because you won't forget the amazing food or wonderful service.
