I have taken my 8 year old daughter there on several occasions for supper. Every time we eat well, are treated well and get to relax and actually enjoy each others company. I love how the staff makes my daughter feel special by remembering her, using her name, actually talking to her and listening to her answers. On top of all that the food is delicious and affordable. It is one of Guelphs hidden gems.

This restaurant is so special to my wife and I that we make a point to go there every year on our anniversary. This year is our 25th and once again it was another top of the line experience! Thought we’d try the pizza and pasta when they first opened (Port Dover location) and this is now our FAVE place! We went here for 2 for 1 wings. Ordered all the different flavours they had, and they were ALL very good. It was busy and loud, servers were awesome and wait time wasn't too bad. We'll be going back to try some other items on the menu for sure.
On a side note, while we were waiting outside a car came by and threw a couple of eggs at us. Nothing to do with Rock Bottom, but it was funny. They missed of course :P

This place has the BEST Tzatziki sauce ever, it is SO good. I always get extra servings and put it on everything, because it tastes amazing with all the flavours.
My friend and I usually get the same thing and share. Their portions are reasonable sizes for the prices they offer. I love that they come with rice and salad :)
The server is also friendly and is always smiling eventhough he is conservative. Their interior reflects warm tones and even the patio is a good place to eat.
Try the stuffed eggplant, it is absolutely delicious! My absolute favourite :)

Christien's restaurant was a very fun experience. The food and service were both better then expected for the volume of customers there on a friday night (may 25). We made reservation and got exactly what we asked for. Service was prompt and startes made it the table less then 15 minutes after ordering. My husband and I frequently visit for our Friday night date nights and have never had a substandard meal or service experience. We love the fact that we can have a great meal and a couple of drinks at an affordable price without standing in line. If you like to pay inflated prices for cookie cutter microwaved meals and stand in line for the pleasure, this is not the place for you. The staff has been nothing short of pleasant and accomodating at every visit and make it their business to try to remember their customers. Can't wait for the renovations to be complete so we can resume our Friday night date night ritual. We miss our Olly's!! P.S. The smoked meatloaf is awsome.

My husband and I are foodies and we love it here!!!
We have been maybe a half dozen times and we have to drive a little ways to get here but we are never disappointed. The service as I have been told before through word of mouth, can always use a bit of tweaking but we keep coming back here so it cannot be that bad.
We arrived and normally there is no one waiting at the hostess stand. Be prepared to wait a moment or 2. We were greeted promptly tonight however, and got a nice roomy table close to the window. There was a large party going on this evening so the staff were kept hopping. We ordered drinks and the soup of the day - we enjoyed every last bite (potato/bacon). My husband loved his German draught beer and I adored a new wine for me, a Hob Nob. I highly recommend this. The server as mentioned was busy and did her best to cater to us and everyone else in the place. We did have to ask for bread though which came later, much later as well as a steak knife and pepper had to be requested.
As for meals, I was craving the Chicken Alfredo and I was so satisfied! I had half to take home with me too! The chicken was so tender, it was fall apart tender. The sauce was well prepared, nicely seasoned, the pasta well cooked and the mushrooms to die for. The brocolli was yummy too. My husband treated himself and got the ribeye steak - he gave it a 10. Deelish. The meat was melt in your mouth and the potatoes! MMM... The sauce was the best thing of all though, the jus. Homemade. the only thing is that it would have been nice to have some green on the plate, some type of veg. We could not order dessert, we were so full. Bonus - we got to meet the head chef/owner and he could not have been nicer. We left happy and with cash still in our pockets, the place is reasonable and not a money grabber. We will be back. Typically we would not call fine dining sitting at a truck stop/hotel but once inside you would never know it! A must try!

Ordered a burger through "Just Eats". Delivery was prompt although I found the cost for it a bit steep ($7). I ordered a "Juicy Lucy" and it was amazing. Messy but great taste (but then, aren't all burgers messy?). Had a small Greek salad on the side. Quite a variety of fresh greens with a vinaigrette dressing. Absolutely delicious.
