I have been going to this eatery for 5 yrs now. It was really good at first when it was called The Bamboo then it was sold and it was just not the same. Now, it was sold again when it became Five Star Chinese Buffet. Now, it is better, pretty much like it was a few yrs ago plus they have the extra food items at the back on week nights that they only use to have on the weekends. It's a good place to eat. Upon discovering this place, I have been at least once a week either for a pot of tea, a quick lunch or a dinner with my partner. The atmosphere is relaxed and not rushed - the dining room is relatively small so service is able to see when you are in need of anything. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and so full of flavor! Sometimes restaurants will just give you the meat version without the meat and that will be their vegetarian options but here you get treated to refined and practiced vegetarian dishes. Their teas some in a glass, clear tea pot and are always presented so nicely so it is an entire experience really. Read more

Went to Dim Sum New years morning at 11:00 the restaurant was 1/4 full by 11:45 it was lined up outside. Food was very good and portion sizes were good. Staff was very friendly and smiling. Food came very quick and we ate a lot total bill was $49.95 total for 4 of us. I will be back again without a doubt. Read more

If I can recommend on this here, it is the baked chicken in cream sauce on rice. It is excellent and bursting in flavour. All other dishes are just as good. We just keep coming back for me. Glad we don't have to travel to Markham for this kind of food. Read more
