I had reservations about going to another Wimpy's, after having such a disastrous experience at the one in my town. The boyfriend however had eaten here many times, and told me that he'd really enjoyed it, and we needed a place we could take his year old son and all of us be comfortable. I was quite happy with my experience at this Wimpy's. The food was good, portions huge, service prompt (though she was carrying on a conversation with the family at the table beside us every time she came to our table). No complaints really. Read more

I moved from Unionville to Newmarket two years ago. I still make a monthly pilgrimage to Mr Fish and Chips because I haven't found anything remotely comparable from here to Vaughan. The fish batter is light and flaky. Their chips are good, but the potato fritters (my personal favourite) are lip-smacking goodness. The eat-in area is pretty basic. Definitely NOT somewhere to go on a first date. Come for the food, not the ambiance. Read more

We ordered seafood soup (like a gyoza soup), bul go gi, sashimi, three orders (6pc.) of unagi sushi, and tea (of course). The sashimi was fresh and the cuts were of a good size. I have been there many times before and the food is always tasty and well priced. I would recommend it to anyone!... However, as a personal sidenote... I prefer sashimi to be really cold, almost-but-not-quite-frozen. The sashimi at Sushi House was cold but not as cold as I like it. Read more
