Finally I have found the BEST dim sum place in ottawa. I was extremely happy with the quality of the food here. The clam ha gao, char siew bao, just everything I had was delicious! I am done with Somerset. The place is also pretty big, unlike so many of those other places where you can everyone's conversation.

haven't been to the Mekong in a while, but decided to try it again the other night, service was very good, our waitress was very attentive and our orders ariived in a timely manner. We ordered a couple of appetizer, they wer ok, nothing special. The prawns in chili tomato sauce were exceptional, cooked to perfection. normally we don't come into the city for chinese food, but i will definitley return.

My husband and I have been a customer at the Oak on March Road since the first day they opened their doors. We have been patrons ever since, loved the staff for their friendly attitude, and the way they have cared over the years for their clients. Today this atmosphere has not changed and the staff, although younger are ever so caring and warm towards their customers. Came to Sante with friends from out of town who wanted delicious food in a snazzy environment with a great view. Sante was the clear choice. We were seated in a wonderful table which overlooked the Chateau Laurier and Sussex drive. Our meal was wonderful, fresh, tasty, and beautiful executed. Service was good, our server was very knowledgeable and recommended our wine which we loved. Only negative was the cappuccino machine was not working, so we settled for a coffee.
Great place to bring out of town guests! Will be back very soon!

The atmosphere is relaxed with just the right time between serving items that arrive fresh, hot and tasty. I've been going to Yangtze for years. It's definitely the best Chinese food you're going to have.
Their "midnight snack" menu is excellent, but I usually end up ordering dim sum a la carte due to how much I like it.
