I have been to this restaurant several times and compared it to the other sushi restaurants in Sherwood Park. Matsuya is the best by a long shot! The service is great, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. When the maki rolls are too big to be called "bite-sized" you can nibble at them and they don't fall apart like at other places. I highly recommend Matsuya! Read more

Attended on Friday, Oct 26/18 with reservations, specifically indicating Birthday Celebration for daughters birthday. I again mentioned birthday when arriving. They didnt do anything for birthday. Mentioned again to server (girl) that it was daughters birthday, so she said okay gets free ice cream. No one did anything else...no birthday wishes or song!!
