If you need outdoor gear of any kind this is the place you have to go to get it. My family and I recently purchased a tent and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly and quick to show us the features of a great tent that we decided to purchase while also saving $100! When a warranty issue arose they instituted their 30 day full exchange policy and ensured that our camping trip that happens in two weeks won't be spoiled! Definitely go to either Cyclone Taylor hockey or figure skate if you need your hockey or figure skates sharpened. I thought it didn't matter but ask for Giovanni at either place...he is the best and has worked for professional skaters...he is the best in Vancouver for sure. People come from the USA, out of province to see him and the price is the same as anywhere else. More than worth it. Read more

Without telling my son I was getting his skates sharpened differently I took his skates to Ultimate Edge and explained the type of skater he was and how he sometimes avoided corners and he just wasn't improving as fast as he wanted to. They explained radius to me and their sharpening techniques. I had heard great things about them and was not disappointed. My son's first time on his "new" skates proved that Ultimate Edge makes a huge difference. I've never gone anywhere else since, and it's a long drive for me to get there. Sports Junkies is a great place to go if you have a kid who seemingly grows out of their sports equipment the day after you buy it. They carry a great selection of new and Used Sporting Goods and are also a good place to go to consign or sell your used gear outright. I like the fact that they closely follow the rules too so that they don't end up being a fence for less than scrupulous individuals in our society. That said the products they carry are always in good repair and they service what they sell too. We recently bought a bike here an had a recurring flat tire problem, They took it in, found the problem, fixed it and charged us $5.00! What a deal!
