My wife and I used to love strolling the city and ending up at the Irish Heather for a pint (or three) and some fantastic authentic pub fare. This was in their original location. Then, we had a family and it took us a while to get back but we finally got back to check out their new digs and new menu. While the beer selection is still fantastic we were disappointed in the overall vibe. The food was still good but the value took a bit of a hit from their original location. While it was a great experience overall we still miss the original. Read more

Hold the bacon! If you're a bacon fiend, The Village may not be for you but they certainly make up for it with their smoked meat. Smoked meat bennys with a tasty hollandaise, a bagel with lox, and tasy coffee rounded out our Sunday breakfast. We were able to walk right in but a crowd started to form shortly after, so arrive earlier if you don't want to wait. There's limited seating but the restaurant is airy and casual.
