I went on Dec. 3rd for their brunch buffet. I had a great experience here for my first time. The food options were decent for a buffet, and it really hit the spot. The service, and atmosphere were great. Friendly, and helpful servers with a clean restaurant. It had a nice family atmosphere with all the Christmas get togethers they had. I go to a lot of brunch places, and in Mississauga there aren't many I'd go to but for a $40 brunch buffet you can't go wrong. Read more

Excellent and cozy restaurant in Little Italy in Toronto. The restaurant has a cute outdoor patio and fireplace. The staff was great, they kept checking up on us, gave us a complimentary dessert due to noise level that didnt bother us at all. The appetizers were delicious and the mushroom risotto with truffle oil was mouthwatering. The stuffed ravioli with butternut squash and pecans was rich and perfect. We came here in a rush with tickets to a show. The servers were understanding and did everything in their power to accommodate. They were wonderful! The entrees were delicious - nice solid, fresh ingredients and very nice flavour profiles. The stewed lamb with the tagliatelle was perfectly cooked. The tortellone with the ricotta, pecorino and the radicchio was just perfect...satisfying and memorable. As for the dessert, we both agree with another review on this board that this quite possibly could be the best tiramisu in the city. Overall, great service, great entrees, and an epic dessert. I love beer and I love a long list of options recited to me by memory... there seem to be so many negative reviews about the Bier Markt but... it's a pub, really, and a spacious, respectable one with Great Beer at that. I was at the Esplanade location last Friday afternoon around 4pm with my husband and some friends and we had a fantastic time drinking pints of Steigl, Erdinger weissbrau, Jupiler, and sharing fondue--wish there was a ski hill nearby. I've been here often, mainly for the beer, but last Friday the atmosphere was great, really quiet and just right for a late lunch. I wish the decor was a little cozier inside. Read more

Fabulous food! I have walked by on several occasions and was certainly not disappointed when finally trying their place. You can tell the food is made from scratch and with skill. The real buffalo mozzarella in the caprese is a nice change and the lamb was cooked perfectly. Ambiance was nice and relaxed, not overly noisy. Waiters are very nice and attentive. Wine list is impressive. Biagio himself was nice enough to introduce himself at our table; A very pleasant surprise. Apparently they have monthly wine tasting events too. We will definitely return.
