My girlfriend and I went up to tobermory ontario a few weeks ago. I have never had such amazing customer service in my entire life. Our server was super kind, funny and made lots of jokes to keep us entertained through our meal. The food was fast to arrive, fresh, and tasted delicious the light the entire dish, I highly recommend eating here on any visit to tobermory, and I hope you get the same server as us his name was James :)

itake my mother and friends at least twice a year to her friends cottage near Perth. it is 2 hours from Niagara almost to the second, and it is at a perfect place to rest and enjoy their fare. Always delicious, and they have the BEST lemonde! Above all else are the wait staff gals, Rachel, Maureen(Mo) and the wonderful older gal, who name escapes me but not her skills at doing her job with professional attitude...i will continue to stop there, because those three gals are, the best!

During our present COVID-19 situation, Rosemary & Thyme made a traditional Turkey Dinner (all homemade) for its customers. This was particularly appreciated during the Easter Holiday where families could not get together but at least could share in the meal, albeit in their own homes. Lukewarm coffee served twice. May be a problem with machine brewing the coffee...it needs replacing or a new heating element. We settled for ice water. This place is by far the BEST Restaurant I've ever eaten in!!! and here's why;
1- Unless your extremely hungry, the home cooked portions are so big, you can barely finish, so in most cases there's left overs for the next day.
2- No one in the city comes close to giving you that much food for that price, because no one has this kind of turnover!
3- Everything , even the bacon bits are real, nothing is from a can, the soups are home receipies, and the place is so busy that the food can be any fresher!
4- The servers might be a little on the old side, but you still get your meal faster than any other restaurant I ve ever been to!
5- The seats are real leather, ive seen them watering the plants, and you can custom tailor every part of your meal to suit even the pickiest of eaters.
NOTE they've been in business for over 40 YEARS !

Fantastic food and service. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Steaks were huge and done to perfection. Chicken fingers were homemade, yummy. The best we ever had. The potatoes in the chicken souvlaki were priceless. Will definitely be back and can't wait to try all the other menu items. I come here every couple of weeks when I'm in the area, a good hearty breakfast served promptly and cheerfully. Can't ask for much more than that! Parking is the only drawback, the lot is quite small and if the snow is piled up it can be a tight squeeze, that's why I rated it an 8 overall. There's a convenience store a couple of doors down where you can buy a newspaper to read with your meal, always a plus for me.

Made a reservation online, probably a good idea, heard it was a busy spot. We were late for our reservation but they honored it. And it was packed.
I had the special, can't remember the type of beef but it was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had, and the poutine was also amazing.
My girl had the turkey burger and sweet potato fries and she loved it.
We also had the Pickle Fries (good) as a starter and two pints of beer, bill with tip was around $80.
Its expensive, but enjoyable and delicious.
