I can't find the Waterloo location on this site but this review is about my experience there.
Went on a Wednesday with girlfriends for drinks and nibbles in the bar. The service was awesome and the food was pretty quick and very tasty. We shared spinach dip, antojitoes and nachoes and we were stuffed! We didn't know a band would be playing and it was an added bonus. We had a great time and have plans to make this our regular get- together hangout!

Angels family restaurant on Westmount and Victoria in Kitchener is amazing! The food is quality and the amount you get is outstanding. The servers are all very pleasent and there are a few that are so very pleasant that I will request for their service when I am sitting down. Great place to eat for quality and quantity.

I have been to this location several times in the last few weeks and overall there has been great consistency.

My friends and I decided to visit Cambridge for an out-of-town getaway. We are all admitted food snobs (one is a chef), so we perused menus and reviews online before heading out (we're from the GTA). It was pretty busy on Friday night so I am glad we made reservations.
We arrived and were seated by a very accommodating host (who we found out later was an owner), and served by one of the most pleasant servers I've ever encountered (perhaps his name was Josh?). Every single employee at that restaurant was happy to be at work, which may not sound important, but it is and is one of the gages I use when I'm dining out. My husband and I both worked in restaurants for years, and happy staff says a lot about the owners, chef and overall customer experience that the server is trying to sell. Josh spoke highly of the owner as well as proudly explained the food and the creativeness of the chef and his menu. The food was fresh, creative and delicious. We were really delighted.
It wasn't a five-star dining experience (but you are not going in expecting that), rather, it is a twist on pub fare that will leave you pleasantly surprised. We also enjoyed that the restaurant was not 'full of itself', the staff, chef and owners were humble and grateful for any compliments and made us feel welcome and appreciated as diners at their restaurant.
My friends and I were sold from the moment we walked in. So much so, that we went back for lunch the next day (it was a no-brainer) and the chef came out to say hi to us and thank us for coming back!
We cannot say enough great things about our experience there. I strongly encourage anyone reading this to visit Cafe 13 and enjoy their great food and hospitality.

Swiss Chalet Franchised first united in the year of 1954 and has been a Canadian favorite ever since. Swiss Chalet is known for its fresh on premise rotisserie chicken; the slow roasted chicken is also served with Canadian potatoes and simmering delicious Chalet dipping sauce. Swiss Chalet, is also known for its incredible tender grilled ribs, also served with sides of fresh cut fries, that makes Chalets food so delicious.
Every Swiss Chalet location has a family orientated atmosphere. The setting consists of casual tables and booth seating as many as twelve customers, comfortable chairs and simple artwork covers the walls. We were lucky enough to be placed beside a warm brick fireplace, on a cold winter afternoon.
As we walked in, we were instantly greeted by the host at Swiss Chalet on Dundas Street in Cambridge, Ontario. He led us to our booth within minutes, as the waitress made her way to our table. The energy around us from the staff, customers and store were welcoming, warm, and crucial to how comfortable, and suitable our lunch was going to be.
The rotisserie chicken club wrap with fries, along with the rotisserie quarter chicken meal with whipped potatoes was ordered during our visit, with excellent service and time management. The server was friendly, engaged in conversation and interest of what we were ordering and how satisfied we were with our Swiss Chalet experience.
Our overall experience at Swiss Chalet, the Cambridge location was delightful. We encourage many individuals to take their date, spouse or family to the nearest location for their next great dinner experience for delicious food, friendly service and comfortable setting.

This classic setting overlooking the river and waterwheel complements the casual, fine dining perfectly. The patio has a great view and a casual menu. Inside the cozy fireplace is very romantic or you can get a very private dining room for business or family events. Food was excellent with good variety and local flavours. Definitely worth the short country drive for a complete night out experience. Not nearly as expensive as I thought.

I attend this restaurant regularly mon-fri for the 3.99 breakfast deal and occasionally we go there for the chicken tenders platter for dinner. I love the service but only when Andrea serves myself and my wife, before that we had gone through waitress after waitress getting crapy service and leaving the girls without a tip as they would never come and check on us until it was time to pay, but when we learned we could request the waitress we wanted everything got soooo much better. This girl is on fire! she has a bubbly attitude and knows what you want when you want it. Shes the best waitress any restaurant could ask for and I wish we could clone her for other restaurants. The food is great and we love the french toast!! and OMG the honey dijon mustard is crazy and out of this world!!! order that with the chicken tenders and I swear you will be one happy customer! We will be eating at this restaurant for a long time to come. GOING TODAY!!!
