On Wednesdays Montana's has an "all you can eat beef rib night", its worth the trip and go there hungry. They have 2 choices of beef ribs "back" or "side" ribs, back ribs are more tender and have more meat on them. Its a fantastic meal and very delicious, I find myself dreaming of those ribs the rest of the week. Sadly they do not offer the same meal any other night of the week, its a one night only affair, the rest of the week they offer only a pork bone substitute for "Ribs" which is not at all like on rib night. Another annoying thing is you cannot switch rib type once you start so choose carefully. I know they have Rib night in several other Montana's restaurants in the Ottawa area on the same night but I don't know if it's chain wide, check with your local restaurant. We all ordered different items off the menu and I think the staff thought we were crazy because we were trying each other's food, but I have everything was so tasty! I came here for lunch a few months ago and was very impressed. We arrived just as the place opened up; the upstairs dining area had not been opened yet. Regardless, I asked if we could have a table on the upper level and the wait staff accommodated our request and opened up the upstairs area and we were given the option to have our choice of any table we wanted. We chose a table on the North side of the restaurant with a great view of the By-ward Market. My burger tasted a little dry but as I had never tried buffalo or bison before I didn't know if that was normal or not.
