I am 72 yr. old lady A&W is my favorite hamburger place. I miss the old A&W song. EVERY restaurant I go to I sing it to the employees. I know it by heart. They say they have never heard it before and love it. I remember in the 60s as a teen how they would bring your order on a tray on roller skates and hang the tray on the side of your car. I don't normally write reviews but in this case it was well deserved. My wife and I ate at this restaurant and like most were blown away by the customer service we received. They greeted us first by opening the door for us, checked on us during our meal to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, and thanked us at the end for coming and opened the door for us when we were done. I honestly felt like I was in a small town restaurant and cannot say enough good things about this A & W. Read more

The concierge always knows: If you are travelling in Vancouver BC, your hotel’s concierge or hotel staff will be able to find restaurants that suit your taste buds and budget. Are you looking for something ethnic, local or for a fine dining experience? The concierge will be able to lead you in the right direction and even place a reservation for you or place a takeout order if dealing with delivery restaurants.
Call ahead: If you have specific dietary needs, food allergies or need to host a large party, call the restaurant of your choice ahead of time and be specific. You don’t want to ruin your evening dining out because the restaurant didn’t have a highchair for little Tommy.
