A great restaurant with a really cosy, warm atmosphere. Were there during our honeymoon and the staff was really pleasant. The food was very good, if a bit pricey. We hoped by coming in on a Sunday it would be less of a wait. We were fortunate to get seated at 6pm as whenever we drive past there is always a lineup. Street parking is available. We tried their caprese to start, their daily pasta which was a red pepper cream penne & their prosciutto e Rucola pizza. They serve neopolitan style pizza w/ a nicely salted chewy crust. As the tomatoe sauce was fresh, the downside is a slighly wetter pizza base. Overall, good food eating experience & worth trying. Read more

I absolutely love this place. The food is quite good, the portion sizes are generous, the prices are right, and the service is always friendly. Speaking of portion sizes, I love their appetizers. They have some small appetizers which are priced relatively low which is wonderful. I don't want to spend 75% the cost of a meal for an appetizer so large that I'm not hungry for dinner any longer. Wish more places would offer appetizer portions like Amarosa. There is a wide selection available so you'd be hard pressed to find something you don't like. I'll be back. Read more

This is the best slice pizza place in Vancouver! I come here nearly every time I'm in the Commercial/Broadway area. Note that the line is often tight, as the front-end of the store is small. But strangers are willing to squeeze together for a reason, as this pizza is fantastic. (And don't worry, the line will move quickly and you'll be free soon enough!)
