The staff were awesome, kind, sympathetic and made a awful situation a little less awful. The vet gave me great advice, didn't push me to do anything, and was extremely kind to my situation. I've been taking my dear dogs to Dr Sharon for 13 years. I trust her totally! My dogs have been in some pretty difficult situations, including Cushings disease and diabetes. She is always very competent, knowledgeable and up on the latest treatment. She is also a very good surgeon. My dog is recovering at this time from having her leg amputated due to cancer and is doing amazingly well. I also can't say enough about the rest of the folks at Downsview! They keep to a tight schedule so you're never waiting long & the waiting room is separated between dogs/cats (with the exception of Mr. Moo, the "greeter cat"). Prices are very fair; they don't insist unnecessary procedures or fancy food. The staff at the desk remember us & remember our cats by name. I had another bunny fixed here and when complications arose from her biting her stitches, they didn't charge me to restitch the wound and check back up on her later, I only had to pay for the cone (and the initial operation was very affordable.)
