The endless bread and salad really is a bit much and I can see it being a very wasteful process. The place had great food!! Their lasagna is really good and their meat sauce is awesome. I ordered the veal sandwich this time for lunch to try if they really have the best veal in town, even though I haven't tried a lot of veals, their sandwich was awesome!! Their Breaded Eggplant was the best I've ever had and I will definitely take my wife here next time because she loves Eggplant. This place is overpriced for what you get. My friend and I shared a light dinner, a glass of wine each and tea, and our bill (with tip and tax) came to $100. I ordered the gnocci in tomato sauce, which was very good, and the bread was tasty. But for a meatless meal with no dessert and no appetizer, the prices are too high. It seems like you're paying for atmosphere. The service was pretty good, but at the end when it got busier we had to signal for service. I think there's better value out there for the money.
