Whenever we are in the area, we treat ourselves to a slice or two. Their pizza is simple, authentic and delicious. They capture the "old world" flavours of Italy, which is something you CANNOT get at "franchise/big chain" pizza places. We are not Italian, but we certainly know how to eat pizza. We've also travelled to Italy several times (although never to the Naples area). So we're not really (culturally) qualified to judge authentic Italian food. But what we can say is: When you eat "Italian" food in Italy, it's not the same as eating food from a chain restaurant here. In Italy, food is more of a celebration. They take care to use really good ingredients that let the subtle flavours of tomato and cheese, etc really shine through. We find that chain pizza places use generally poor quality ingredients. Naples uses high quality, authentic ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. Highly recommended. Read more

They had music, people danced , great singer !! Our waiter made us laugh and is really good looking too . Great value good service and good portions. I often get the pasta package for one, minus the little dessert (way to full for it!!). Its only $15.99 & gets you an entire meal w/ drink too. we always have left overs cuz like most we end up filling up on salad, soup and that yummy warm endless garlic bread! I've now been to Pastaggio's 4 times and enjoyed each experience. Once with a friend, once with my boyfriend, and once with my mother. They all agreed with me that it was a great atmosphere with a delicious menu. The prices are reasonable and fair due to the great quality of the food. The only problem I found was that there was not enough parking but it is luckily located on Main Street so even if you have to park a little bit away from the restaurant, you can generally find somewhere! Id really love to give them a 5 star but my only complaint is the price and even though it might be steep you really do get what you pay for.Also recommend they go with loaf bread for the garlic bread the slices are great but I feel that the given 8 might be a tad slim and even if they have to up the price a tad for a loaf I guess thats fine as well. Mike the owner of Bella Notte has done a fabulous job on making such a quiant atmosphere. He has pictures on the walls of him and the generations before him and this is Italian history at its finest. I really enjoy supporting the local businesses in my neighbourhood and this one is very easy to become a regular at. The food is amazing and is a great substitute for downtown Toronto dining. Bella Notte provides fresh food with unique flavors, it has a great wine selection, and always friendly service. You will need to expect however that on the weekends especially, it will be veryyyyy busy and the service may be slower than usual (standard for any restaurant really), so my advice to you is to purchase a great bottle of wine and enjoy the night with your loved ones. This establishment really gives you the time to enjoy your meal, wine and conversation which is not something done at your run of the mill franchises. For a great dining experience and a taste of Italy, I highly recommend it! Read more
