Absolutely love Dr. Mckeown, she is such a great doctor. She is very through and answers all your questions. She is always understanding of your worries and requests, I never leave her office feeling bad. She is so kind and really cares and connects with her patients on another level. Both of my eyes had cataracts for a few years and referred to Dr. Nixon for operation treatment. After waiting for less than a year I got both of my eyes fixed. My both eyes are 2.0 now ! As a ski instructor at Blue I've had 2 accidents in four years resulting in "emergency dept" medical care. On both occasions the care and professionalism of all staff, including admin, nursing care and doctors has been totally exceptional.
My latest accident was only a cracked rib but I can attest from my more serious accident (a cervical fracture, emergency surgery and ongoing rehab) that our Health Care system is a marvelous treasure and Collingwood Hospital is a wonderful part of it.
