I'm biased perhaps, because I go there and only there for beer and lottery, buy I've always found the owners friendly and cheerful. They took it over years ago, and even though they didn't know me at first (we're "old friends" now) they were always the same, even when they had no employees to help and the incredibly long hours would show on their faces and stooped postures. I hope they never sell.

I recently moved to Griffintown. The first time I walked in, they had the brand of chips that I like, but not the flavour. I expressed my disappointment, recommended that they get my favorite flavour as I would be stopping by often. They took my request down on paper. Guess what?! Two weeks later, BOOM! There they were!
