Family owned and serving the community since 1993....the only place that can display on their menu; NO-MSG. I always drive there for the pick-up special prices. This was my First time at a real Sushi resturant , what a nice experience, they had not been open long, and the service was great, lovely atmosphere, clean quiet calm, it was a nice dining experience not just a meal, we have since returned many time and the standards are still high.

To be honest, I don't think I have anything really negative to say about this restaurant. We visited for lunch on a Sunday, and were the first people in the restaurant. As a party of seven, we were seated at an assembled table right by the bar near the front of the restaurant.
From what I can recall, we ordered the Manchurian Chicken, Chili Chicken (dry), mixed vegetables, butter chicken, and chicken chow mein - looking back, yes that was a lot of chicken - and it was all rather delicious.

I have visited heaven on Earth when I discovered China Garden!! I moved to Canada in 1999, and in August I first discovered this place! Since then, it has been a love affair! The food is as good as in India!! We go here almost every month since the past 11 years!! We have gone there several times as it a local place for us. The service was excellent and everything at dinner was very well prepared even though we made small request changes. I live near Queen and Spadina and have had some difficulty with finding decent low-medium priced sushi. Toshi is across from where I take spin class and I noticed that the sign indicated that the chef was Japanese so I decided to try it out. I found the fish to be fresh, the restaurant to be clean and the service to be attentive. They service appropriately sized rolls and nigiri, as opposed to the giant pieces that many other establishments serve (this is a good think IMO). Overall, very good meal and I think I will be frequenting Toshi a great deal.
