Chez Lévêque "fait partie des meubles" dans l'univers des bistros français montréalais. Nous l'avons ré-essayé pour un "Late dinner" récemment. Toujours égal à lui-même, ce resto plaît presque immanquablement. Les classiques y sont offerts: escargots, tartares, steak frites, canard confit, etc., mais la carte pourrait être bonifiée. De un l'acceuil est au rvs! De deux, la place est chaleureuse, mur de briques, poutres de bétons, lumières originales, les sièges hyper comfortables, de l'espace pour manger! De trois, il y en a pour tout les goûts et les menus changent aux saisons de plus que le spécial du jour n'est jamais le même de jour en jour, ainsi que pour les soirs une spécialitées de poisson et viande du moment varient constamment. De quatre, La cuisinne est excellente et les portions de soirs sont généreuses et pout les midi c'est moins mais suffisant sinon nous allons s'endormir au boulot, et j'ai de l'appétit! Je suis cook moi-même, je sais reconnaître de la bonne cuisine santé... De cinq, La carte des vins offre d'excelent choix à bon prix qui sors des sentiers battus, beaucoup d'importations privées! De six, le service est impeccable on prends bien soin de nous. À mon avis c un coup sûre!!! Ahhh le dernier mais non le moindre, le stationnement à volonté est disponible, fini les casses têtes de se trouver une place :) ... Excellent experience of 5 course blind tasting menu. This resto is a cute hidden gem, def recommend it. Our waiter gave us a great service, friendly and went thoroughly the different options of menu. Live jazz, great wine, wonderful meal... Need I say more? We got a table upstairs, next to the band. Usually, you'd want to keep a distance, but this was wonderful. The singer was great. The wine selection was varied. The meal was very well done. The lamb was as good as they promised (which is not always the case at all restaurants) Our server was lovely and very accommodating. They did charge us an extra $8 for splitting the lamb-chops between the kids. If I am paying $220 for my meal, I don't expect that. Still, it did not affect the beautiful evening we had. Read more
