Onion rings were pretty solid. But everything else was sub par. Waitress was slow to greet and take order, no offer to refill drinks, no table check after meal was served, had trouble flagging her down for bill. Onion rings were tasty and it was a fairly large portion. The salads were a complete disappointment. The goat cheese salad was a large but the only thing that separated it from any ordinary salad were 3 small pieces of toasted bread, only one of which had a small dollop goat cheese. IIRC, that salad cost around $12. Not worth it at all. The other salad was also large but was pedestrian at best and way too expensive for what I received.

Nice spot. Upscale pub. They brew beer on the premises but on that day the type of lager home brew I tried was flat. I sent it back after a couple sips. the waitress was very courteous about it. . The 5-7pm 1/2 price appetizer special was awesome.

Of course, it was the eleventh hour when I called and tried to make an evening reservation on Valentine’s Day. And, of course, like everyone else they were completely booked but they did call me back and I was so happy that they could squeeze us in. We enjoyed the best meal we could have hoped for. The house red (forget the varietal) was so perfectly pared with the shrimp appetizer, Gamberi Di Amaretto. And the chardonnay was lovely with the escargots. Our entrees were equally delicious and in spite of the fact that it was a very busy evening for Napoli’s, the food arrived at our table fresh and hot and the service was perfect. Water glasses were always topped up and we were never left unattended for long. The servers were very friendly and approachable and it all made for a fantastic dining experience. We also didn’t feel over-crowded in this ‘full-to-capacity’ restaurant. Our table provided plenty of elbow room and the table conversation was easy to hear in spite of people. We were very comfortable and happy to be enjoying the wonderful atmosphere. We can’t wait to have dinner at Napoli’s again. Read more
