The movers showed up unprofessional right from the start. They were on their phones constantly and seemed to drag their feet loading the truck. When we got to the storage unit, they refused to unload until I paid them, and then tacked on an extra hour just for sitting around waiting for the money.
They didn’t bring proper floor protect, so my floors ended up dirty from their shoes. No door stoppers, ties, or tape either, even though I’d been told things would be wrapped. 0 stars.
BEWARE!!!! Worst moving company ever. They wasted lots of our time and billed doubled the amount than quoted. Our car was right behind them from Brampton to Burlington. They took 2 detours and wasted a lot of time on the road. Demanded extra money for services not quoted before. Very unpleasant, stressful and horrible service. STAY away !!! Addition: wow. award winning- Super LAZY - Super SLOW. Disgustingly cheap tactics to Bill more money. We ended up doing most of the work. BEWARW!!! CROOKS !!
We hired Asr movers to move our Two bedroom apartment from Toronto to Oakville . The Crew was great - hard working - never complained - well mannered and easy to deal with. There was never a hesitation when i asked them to do something. They were very efficient (Harry and Guri). (no damages) really pleased and glad we chose Asr moving system for our move.
Very professional, quick and punctual. Everyone from the person booking the pick up and delivery to the movers were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
The WORST customer service ever, they made me wait for 3 hours to pick up, they broke my TV stand, and when they finished the moving they did not even provide any invoice for me to claim for my expenses. The interesting point was that their movers, who are all from India, forced me to tip them. I should also talk about the manager, Nick, he is very rude and he does not respond to phone calls or emails properly.

Had to call the police on them, they were forced to leave our belongings on the curb. It took them almost 3 hours to not even load all of a one bedroom apartment even with my fiancee and I doing half the work, then they ransom belongings in the back of their truck and force you to pay in advance before they will unload. Its an obvious con. Calling the boss leads to him going on the offensive and accusing you of lying about their ineptitude, hanging up on you. Good reviews are most likely staged.
Absolutely terrible. We had to call the police because they ransomed our belongings in the back of the truck while demanding more money. The police forced them to put our belongings on the curb. We moved it in ourselves. We also did more of the work than them moving stuff to the truck from my old apartment. My fiancee had to move it into the new place because they left it outside the door or in the entrance. Only placed three items into the apartment. It took them over six hours to move a 1 bed
terrible company and ethics, not professional. overcharged my cc. said they could move piano and obviously they had no clue what they were doing. then not able to get it into my apt, left with the piano bench in their truck, said they would deliver but then had to drive to get it only to find it broken and laying sideways in back of the truck with no protection. cushion soiled, scratches on legs and seat broken off, refused to sign that it was broken and now they are ignoring my calls.
They showed up one hour late.. on the phone they tell you 3 hrs minimum charge.. they don't wrap any of your furniture.. the guys who come will be on the phone for long periods of time and waste time.. the owner is not honest when you complain he will lie and tell you it's a 4 hour minimum charge.. don't trust them.. once move is done they will not pick up your calls
Stay as far away as possible from ASR. They showed up 1hr 45 minutes late having lied many times as to how close they were or refused to say where they were and then called to say they couldn't find the accurate address on their GAPS. I fired them by leaving after 90 minutes. I since read reviews on Homestays that reflect many disastrous experiences. Don't touch these folks they have a reputation for being late...demanding full payment before unloading and only taking some of your items inside.
They lied and left when my house was only half moved then didn't answer the phone if I called with my number. I could have been sued for not being out of the house. Worst move ever. Do not use these people
