Friendly Professional Service Honest And Reliable Servicing All Makes And ModelsWe're Here To Help You!Get-About Auto repairs is a full service facility offering complete mechanical and electrical repairs to most makes and models, along with computer diagnostics.A Bit of Our HistoryPeople often ask, 'Why the name 'Get-About Auto'?In the fall of 1993 Carl registered a part-time business offering automotive services. Over the years of working for large Dealerships he always had people coming to him and wanting work done 'on the side'. To meet this need he worked evenings and week-ends. Given that he travelled to the customers' residence we came up with a name that depicts mobile service in 'Get-About'.As time went on he became busier and busier and was unable to meet the needs of his customer base. So, in the fall of 1997 we set up shop in the city of Winnipeg being that over 90% of our customer base was in the city. Howard and Jason are so helpful. I can’t get packages at our address and so they go there. People expect them to deliver them but they are only a pickup point and that in itself is SO HELPFUL for me and my family. The people there are really nice and I know it is a real pain for them and they don’t get anything out of it. A big thank you to them!!!! Read more
