had a very disappointing experience with Academy Optical. I ordered 3 pairs f glasses on April 15,2025 and paid $2000 through my manulife insurance on May 5,2025 for 3 pairs of prescription glasses, but as of today, I have not received them. Despite repeated follow-ups, I was either given excuses or completely ignored. Arsh is not answering my calls and messages on his personal number even though on store number This is unacceptable behavior from any business
The friendliness of the staff seemed to me like a tool to give you expensive extras, not sell you, but just tell you what you are getting. Forgot to take certain measurement so I had to return. Would not cancel order when I phoned first thing next morning explaining that a costly veterinary emergency had occurred the previous evening. *This is not for the optometrist office on the second floor. They have been competent in my experience.

FIrst off let me respond to this person by saying that we do not nor have ever had a pet, so her veterinarian story is an untruth. Our industry has provided us with unbelievable technology in optics and it would be remiss of us to not tell people about those options and the related costs. We have been in business for many years and have many wonderful and satisfied customers and repeat customers. Its kind of sad that none of the good ones have posted on this site.
