From day one, Zephyr Music Studio has been focused on making music education available to all. “This has always been our vision: to give kids, or anyone, music education that is affordable,” says Monique Esposito. “We know first-hand that learning music is not cheap, but we’re here for people who really want to learn music.”

Monique and her husband Adam Esposito, who owns Zephyr Music Studio, have a unique approach when it comes to providing music education for kids and giving them something constructive to do. “We have discounts for single parents,” says Monique. They are also open to adjusting fees when they think the situation warrants it. “Just give us a call and let’s talk about it,” adds Monique. “We’d rather your son comes to us to play guitar and love music than just hang out in the streets and have nothing to do.”

Zephyr Music Studio offers lessons for guitar, drums and piano, and the teachers always go to the students’ homes for the instruction. “We used to have a physical studio, but the demand for doing classes in the comfort of the students’ homes increased,” says Monique. The classes are one-on-one, with options for 30-, 45- or 60-minute sessions. Regular classes run for a year (following the academic calendar of September to June), but depending on the students’ progress, the classes may advance within a short period of time.
