Dry Cleaning Dud
We took 5 sweaters (cashmere, wool, wool combination) one pair of expensive dress slacks, one large rain/outer wear coat to Leduc Cleaners. Picked up the order, smelled quite bad, couldn't take back immediately as this was a long weekend, took them back, was told that they hadn't been dried enough, would re-do them, picked them up, still smelled bad, took them back and was told by the manager that there was no smell, it's just the new solvent they are using - I had only taken one item (we beg to differ) - that he had done these items 3 times (actually two and the raincoat only once) and would not give our money back. We had to go and buy new sweaters and slacks so that this smell would not contaminate our other clothing in the suitcases we taking on tour overseas. Friendly manager, but was told that under no circumstances I would have money back. Last time for us and our friends at Leduc Cleaners.
